I discovered Swing dancing through Melbourne Uni Dancesport Club on March 8, 2007, and continued my development with Swing Patrol. Since then, it's been a big part of my social life and an activity that I'm most passionate about. Dancing is my favourite creative outlet, something I've always wanted to take on since I was a little kid, but was too hesistant to try, until that Orientation week at Melbourne Uni. Prior to dancing, I've tried many other creative outlets since childhood: creative writing, singing, painting, playing the piano, the guitar, but this is the one I'm most competent in. I now can't imagine my life without it. When I'm on the dance floor, I'm truly free.
